i was very surprised i liked this on account of the vocals sounding like the guy from system of a down but, it must of been the sweet neurosis sounding guitar tone, heavenly dismal backup vocals and the awesome horn section spread throughout the album that eventually won me over.
-four out of five stars-
P.S. someone leaked the new isis album

In honor of yours truly getting this LP, here is a none comressed version of this album. Described as soulful doom from the Midwest. That seems to be a pretty accurate description to me and the killer solos help a bunch too!

first saw these guys in uproks basement on a whim with jake, critter, and neil, with all systems fail (salt lake), day of less (salt lake) and assault (japan) for like 5$ then at kilby court a few months later. The last time they came through salt lake was with coliseium and i didn't stay to see them and it ended up being there last tour before breaking up. members went on to be in hellshock, tragedy and world burns to death. So here's their early recordings discography. Enjoy
